Why is Actevate different?

Actevate has been Australian owned and independently operated since 2006, and we tailor every programme to your organisation's size, industry, and risk profile rather than applying a one-size-fits-all model. When was Actevate founded, and who owns it?

Actevate was founded in Sydney in 2006 by Robert Migliore and remains Australian owned and independently operated. We are an independent provider rather than part of an insurer or broker, so the advice we give employers and workers is our own, and it is shaped by two decades of working alongside some of Australia's largest employers.

Where is Actevate based, and where do you deliver services?

Our head office is in Sydney, with offices in Newcastle, Canberra and Wollongong. Services are delivered Australia-wide. Pre-employment screening, training and EAP sessions are available online or on site, and our clinic and practitioner network covers metropolitan and regional locations, so tell us where your people are and we will confirm coverage.

Is Actevate an accredited workplace rehabilitation provider?

Yes. Actevate has been an approved workplace rehabilitation provider since 2006 and delivers every service in line with applicable workers compensation and work health and safety legislation. Our consultants are qualified, registered health professionals, and each program is built to meet the contractual, legislative and regulatory requirements that apply to your organisation.

Who is on the Actevate team?

Our team brings together psychologists, rehabilitation counsellors, occupational therapists, social workers and other allied health professionals, all degree-qualified and registered with their relevant professional bodies. They bring depth of experience across both workers compensation and workplace health, which means they understand claims, insurers and WHS obligations as well as they understand people.

How does Actevate work with employers?

As an embedded partner rather than a one-off supplier. A dedicated Actevate adviser gets to know your operations, risk profile and culture, then coordinates prevention, wellbeing and recovery services so they work together instead of in silos. You keep your existing HR, WHS and claims processes; we fit around them and report back on outcomes so you can see what is working.

What kind of reporting will we receive?

You'll receive clear, regular reporting on progress and outcomes. This may include key metrics, progress against goals, and trends across your workforce. By making results visible, we help you monitor improvements, demonstrate return on wellness, and make informed decisions to continuously strengthen your workplace health strategy.
